My birthday! :) Thank you EVERYONE for all the well-wishes, belated or not. Spent the entire day shopping for last minute prom stuff. Heels, shawl, accessories. Was dead tired after that. Then went for dinner at nice Jap restaurant! Spent the night away oogling at wentworth miller, teehee (in other words - contd watching Prison Break)

Went out with Huiting and jessica INITIALLY. Met at Orchard MRT, where I thought I saw huiting and WANTED to scare her from behind. But it turned out to be someone else. Haha. Went to eat lunch at food republic. Oh sorry, THEY ate, I blogged. After that, checked the movie timings for Step Up using my phone :) Movie was at 3 so we walked around cine, going to the iPod shop and Sembawang. Then weeds suddenly said go to PS to watch cheaper, so we rushed there. Then we realised the timings were not the same. And we stood around being indecisive as usual. Then suddenly, this group of people started singing a birthday song. I turned around and saw the animal farm with a cake. I swear I was so shocked! Stunned for like a few seconds then I started smiling :) And then I covered my face because I was so embarrassed. Made a wish, cut the cake, and ate it, littering the entire floor in the process. Then we went to watch Just Friends. Weeds and Cheong sneaked in. The guy checking my card was like, "What date is it today?" and I said, "19th :)" Then he was like, "Oh, just nice :)" Yeah, so after the movie we went home! THANK YOU ANIMAL FARM, HUITING AND JESSICA! :D I had a super sweet sixteenth! I love yall!

Okay, originally we wanted to go to weeds's house to surprise her, so I made up a bluff about how I found my memory card and could I please go to her house to play FFXII. But then change of plans and decided to surprise her in town. She was gonna go shopping with Gabby for accessories anyway. So I met seng in TP and bought a cake from Bread Talk. Headed down to town and went to eat BK. Then cheong came with guan yu. And cheong bought me Taufik's album for my birthday! THANK YOU :) Anyway, called jane and gabby to go to the FOUNTAIN, but instead, they came to th benches at B1 (WHERE WE WERE). SO the surprise was kinda spoilt since we hadn't lit the cake and all. Nvm, sang her a birthday song and cut the cake! Then we contd shopping until gabby FINALLY bought her heels (which she ended up NOT wearing for grad night -_-) and then we headed home!

IJ GRAD NIGHT 2006! and abigail's birthday! Happy sweet sixteenth!

Morning was a busy, busy affair. Busy writing letters and designing teachers' cards. When I was finally done, I left my house with all my barang barang. Bought my SD card from lucky plaza and went to have lunch at 3. Followed my sister to my mom's shop to choose her LUNA LOVEGOOD spectacles HAHA and then went to do my hair and make up at far east. This was when I realised that make up ACTUALLY WORKS! The make up artist was putting eye liner on my left eye and it looked so much bigger than my right! Like my right eye was swollen or something. Oh, and I finally look CHINESE for once! omg, a miracle! Now random people on the street will stop thinking I'm malay and that steven lim dude will FINALLY stop asking me if I'm from singapore. But well, it was only for one day, now I'm back to being malay AND a foreigner. Anyway, went to Hyatt to change and waited ALONE for a VERY LONG TIME for the rest to come. Wanted to put all my stuff in Sam's room, but she didn't have the key and everything. Quite complicated and messy lah, lazy to explain. In the end I just left my stuff at the reception counter. Went up and took loads of PICTURES! :) Then went in to the GRAND BALLROOM. Oh, before that, may I just say that TJL is gross! Yes she is. Anyway, took MORE pictures inside and the dinner started. Speeches from various people, giving out of rings, the school song, and then end of formalities. Then Games and Lucky Draw started. Kicked off with a word game thing. Like 4 out of 6 contestants were from 4/3 because we were sitting in front (that's what you get for handing up your money early :) And grace finally did something well. Hahah, kidding lah.) Anyway, Grace was damn funny!!! Omg, couldn't stop laughing all throughout the game man. She actually beat GERMAINE LIU, the word genius and smartass. Okay, maybe not delle, but still, GERMAINE LIU. Biased lah the emcee. hahahha. Then more games and lucky draw before they finally started the Miss IJ Pageant. Q&A and catwalk. Teena from 4/1 won. Congrats! don't really have comments on this though, nothing much. Then after the dinner ended, everyone went outside to take MORE pictures. Took pictures with Mr Teh, Mrs Selvam and Mrs Low and Mrs Fam. You know what? I shall just let the pictures do the talking.
